PDF patterns are a handy way to get a pattern quickly and without all the ads that often come with free patterns that designers offer on their blogs. I have no problem with bloggers and designers having ads on their site, but it sure is nice to have a beautiful, printable pdf with the pattern, where the screen doesn’t go to sleep while you’re working on your project. It’s also easier to mark up and make notes as you’re going along. Sometimes old-school is just better.
