Diamond (Patterns) are a Maker’s Best Friend

This week in my perusing the world wide web for the best patterns, I stumbled upon a couple of super cute diamond themed patterns. It made me think about how I had seen others and I would like to bring them all together for you so we can enjoy the variety of beautiful patterns inspired by this simple geometric shape! It’s wonderful to see all the different ways designers have of incorporating this shape into knit and crochet (there’s even a bonus macrame pattern!) patterns, in simple and complex ways. Most of these patterns are easy beginner level patterns, so they make a great first project for a new knitter or crocheter.

I am not the kind of person that really did a lot of snuggling/fidgeting with blankets or hair or anything like that, but I do know that some people are really tactile that way. I just picked up the yarn for this Diamond Knit Dress Pattern from Knitatude. I need to get this pattern on my needles soon! And now that I’ve finished knitting my husband’s HBC cardigan (see it here on my instagram), I might be able to get this one on my needles for me! Also, all I could get in the MeriPaca from We Are Knitters was natural, so I was thinking of knitting this and then maybe dying it to make it ombre. I don’t know.
