I think one of the most soothing things to make is a blanket. There’s just something about working on a larger project that isn’t overly complicated that is so very satisfying. Getting in the groove of a pattern that you’ve memorized, working for hours almost mindlessly creating a beautiful cozy item that is going to wrap someone you love in warmth and comfort is such a lovely experience! I’m really drawn to simple stitch patterns in neutral colours, so you’ll probably get a sense for my design sensibility through the patterns that I’ve collected for you here today.
