I just received my first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine yesterday, so I am hopeful that one day soon we might be able to take vacations again! But what better way to spend my time while I wait for my second dose and wait for my fellow humans to get vaccinated than to make some vacation and summer-inspired patterns? I have collected a bunch of patterns that are great to wear on vacation or great projects to make on vacation, as we all look longingly ahead to knitting and crocheting on the beach!

For a crocheted dress pattern for yourself, check out this sweet Synthesis Crocheted Dress Pattern from Mermaid Cat Designs. The lacy peekaboo waistband adds a delicate and flirtatious little touch and the scoop back makes this a perfect summery dress to keep cool. Walk on the beach or a night out on a patio, this sweet little sundress is so adorable. It comes with instructions for just small, medium, and large, though, so if you are outside those size ranges, this might not be the pattern for you. But if you’re good with gauge and numbers, you might be able to figure out how to make it in your size.

I just loved the ethereal quality of the photos of the Discovery Crocheted Maxi Off-the-Shoulder Dress, which is also designed by Mermaid Cat Designs. Plenty of pictures are included every step of the way. This dress is also limited in its sizes, again offering only S, M, L. This would look so pretty as a beachy dress or even a wedding dress!
