With the weather turning cooler and Halloween decorations beginning to show up in stores, I’ve been thinking about making fun hats for the kids, that also double as costumes. Where I live, it could easily be snowing or freezing on Halloween so incorporating a warm knit or crocheted hat into your costume is a smart move.

Which adorable costume hat will you make for yourself or a loved one? One time I made this super sweet Larry Boy crocheted hat for my son. Of course, my kids never give me much time when they decide what they want to be for Halloween, so I was pretty sure I was madly crocheting this hat at the last minute. Turned out pretty good.
