As we become further and further buried under snow here in Edmonton, there is an extreme pull to sit under blankets and cuddle up with a blanket and a project. And there are few things more satisfying to make than Amigurumi stuffed toys! They are relatively quick to make, they often allow you to use up yarn you already have in your stash and it’s just so fun to see the character of them come alive as you work! Check out this collection of adorable Christmas amigurumi crochet (and a couple of knit!) patterns for you to make this season.

How cute is this Penguin Crochet Pattern from Cute Toys By Tatiana in his winter cap and scarf? The accessories on this adorable little penguin are actually knit, so this is a great opportunity for those of us who can do both of these crafts to show off our skills! There’s no shame in not knitting a scarf, though. I’m sure if you can follow this pattern, you can figure out how to make a crocheted hat that would be suitable for your little penguin!

This Snowman and Red Nosed Fawn Crochet Pattern from BVoe668 reminds me of the 1964 stop motion film Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, which I loved as a kid. The snowman isn’t quite right for the Burle Ives character, but that reindeer is pretty close. Such an adorable little crochet pattern to make for your holiday display. I love having Christmas decorations that the kids can touch and play with instead of everything being fussy and hands-off. This is a great way to invite littles into the cheer of the Christmas season!

What a delightful Cuddle-Sized Christmas Tree Amigurumi Pattern from Storyland Amis! This is the perfect little tree to decorate a child’s bedroom, or to satisfy a particularly tree-loving kid’s desire for a Christmas tree!

How much fun is this sweet Gingerbread Man Amigurumi Pattern from Planet June? These little guys would make the perfect wrapping accessory on a gift or add a hanger and they make a great tree ornament! You could make a whole bunch of them and string them up as an adorable gingerbread man garland! They would also make a super fun holiday addition to a child’s play kitchen! So many fun options for this quick and easy pattern.

Of course, we can’t forget Santa. This Crocheted Santa Amigurumi Pattern from R Nata is cuddle-sized when made with the yarn called for, at 20-22 cm tall. Such a sweet little toy for a little one to enjoy!

I just had to share this super cuddly Santa Crochet Pattern from Crochet Wonders Design! This Santa reminds me of the Santa in the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer holiday special as well, with his modern, stylized moustache and beard. He’s made with velour blanket yarn, so it makes the cuddliest stuffed toy! So soft!

Christmas calls for all kinds of elves and gnomes, so if you want to make yourself an adorable bearded gnome for your Christmas decor, try this Amigurumi Christmas Gnome Crochet Pattern from Happy Dolls Hand Made. The pattern includes both the large and the small gnome and they make the perfect whimsical holiday decor! And bonus: if you have kids or grandkids: unbreakable!

This Crochet Christmas Elves Pattern from R Nata is just the thing to bring some Christmas cheer and whimsy! I love patterns like this that come with delightful details that bring such joy as you work them up. Cute little accessories and details such as stripes and ruffles really add to an amigurumi pattern!

I just love the cartoonish character in this Rudolf the Reindeer XL Amigurumi Pattern from Il Dikko. If you have not checked out Il Dikko’s Etsy Shop before, you really should! So many whimsical amigurumi patterns filled with character and personality. I can’t wait to make one of these fun patterns one day!

If you like the gnomes with their eyes buried beneath their hats and beards, check out this Crocheted Snowman Amigurumi Pattern from Pink Pumpkin Studio. Such an adorable little snowman to sit on your mantel or nestle in your Christmas tree. I love everything about this sweet little snowman!

My dear knitter friends, there just aren’t as many cute knitting patterns out there when it comes to amigurumi. Crochet just works better for these little characters! It’s not too late to learn, you can always pick up a class from Craftsy. But I do have a couple of cute Christmas amigurumi patterns for you, including this fun Amigurumi Knit Penguin Pattern from Amy Gaines. Again with the penguin in the hat and scarf. Just something sweet about that.

Amy Gaines also has this Amigurumi Knit Winter Animals Ornament Pattern Set Pattern available which makes a fun Christmas gift or wrapping toppers. An adorable kniting pattern complete with a bunny, a fox, a reindeer, a mouse and a bear! And don’t forget the scarves!

I hope you find a delightful holiday amigurumi pattern to make while we’re all staying home and cozy this winter. Practice some crocheting and come out of lockdown with a newly honed skill and gifts for all your loved ones! Pick up one of these great patterns today or pin it for later!

Crochet Patterns are Among Us

If you have kids that are the same age as my kids (10-15), you have heard of Among Us. A few weeks ago, we got Mr Evangelist a new phone and our youngest got a hand-me-down phone that was new enough to be able to download Among Us and he was pretty happy about that. Conversations overheard with the three of them talking about it is a little weird since they’re talking about being the imposter and killing people. … uh yeah, this is fine, right? Anyway, they’re all the rage right now and I think every kid is going to want their own Among Us character for Christmas. So I collected some Among Us inspired crochet patterns for you here to make your own fun gifts for some kids that you love.

*Disclosure: this post contains affiliate links, meaning if you click on them and buy something, you don’t pay any extra, but I may get a small commission.*

So, this is the basic character, a crewmate… and a dead crewmate. Let’s not dwell too much on their anatomy, shall we? You can use this Among Us Crewmate and Corpse Crochet pattern from Frannito Crafting to make these two characters and any Among Us loving kid is sure to recognize them and enjoy them. The fun is that the crewmates are all kinds of colours, so you can use whatever your kid likes and any yarn you have on hand!

So apparently hat-wearing is big in among this crew, so this Among Us Crewmate + 6 Hats crochet pattern from Toys by Ludmila is a fun way to add some additional flair to your Among Us character. Personally, I like the plant hat. Very fun.

Again, we have a Crewmate Corpse crochet pattern from Fibita, but with a more interactive/dynamic element. The Crewmate can be “alive” and then they can take the top off to reveal the corpse. I love handmade toys that have a dynamic element like this.

If you like the interactive corpse crewmate pattern, you can bundle it with a regular crewmate and a ghost in this Among Us Crochet Pattern Set, also from Fibita. I’m not really sure what the ghost does, but every time I talk to my kids about this, their answers are always really basic, so like, I bed the ghost just like haunts things or moves things around… and it’s the ghost of a murdered crewmate…

Here’s another fun set of patterns: An Among Us Crewmate and 6 Hats Crochet Pattern from Studio Wow Toys UA. Again, there’s so much creativity here with the hats: a plunger, a banana peel, a fried egg, a roll of bathroom tissue, a crown and a flamingo floatation device. So much fun. I love the fried egg and the flamingo floatie.

Here’s a Halloween themed Among Us Inspired Crochet Pattern from Props Toys for you to try out. Don’t you love his flip-top head, his felt teeth and untamed tongue? Such a fun character to make! The best thing about these simple little characters is how quickly they work up. You can have a fun handmade gift in just a few hours!

Can you ever have too many hats, though? So much fun and a great way to play another character. This collection of 5 fun Among Us Hats/Accessories crochet pattern from Fibita is a great way to add a lot of character to the plushies you’re going to make for your Among Us fan.

Or for a fun gift that’s not a toy, you can turn your little Among Us fans into Among Us Crewmates with this fun hat pattern from Tippery & Co. These fun little characters are simple and make such delightful handmade gifts.

I hope you find an Among Us inspired crochet pattern to make for your Among Us fan. Grab one of these fun patterns and get making today! Or pin it for later!

Check out this fun round up of Among Us inspired crochet patterns. Kids are loving this video game right now; these will make awesome quick handmade crocheted gifts this Christmas! #crochetpattern #crochettoys #AmongUs #amigurumi #amigurumipatterns

Crocheted Creatures

As the weather warms and we venture outside more, the desire to sit under heavy sweaters and blankets passes and at the end of a day of gardening or spending time outside or renovating your bathroom (true story), sitting on the deck with a cold drink and a crochet hook to make some little stuffed creatures is just the sort of craft to keep your fingers busy in the evening. Amigurumi is a Japanese word for small stuffed, crocheted creatures. In its most limited meaning of the word, they are anthropomorphic and crocheted: think little cupcakes with faces. But in the more broad sense, it applies to knit and crocheted creatures, including dolls and stuffed animals. And I’ve had forest creatures on my mind today as I was sharing a story how we dealt with bears at camp with my youngest son this morning. So I’ve collected a bunch of adorable crocheted creature patterns for you to choose from to keep yourself busy this spring.

*Disclosure: this post contains affiliate links, meaning if you click on them and buy something, you don’t pay any extra, but I may get a small commission.*

So naturally, since it was bears that inspired this pattern round up, the first amigurumi creature I have for you is this 3-in-1 Teddy Bear Crochet Pattern. The 3-in-1 part means that there are also 2 other options included in this pattern: options to change the pattern in order to make a bunny and a cat. So cute! And this fuzzy plush yarn works up quickly and makes a super soft and cuddly toy any child will love! (Also: yellow bear! So cute!)

While bears are an obvious choice for a handmade stuffed toy, why don’t you try something a little unique, like this Amigurumi Shrew Crochet Pattern? Don’t you love its long snout and little ears? And what shrew is complete without a little sweater? Absolutely adorable. It’s so fun to make and give handmade amigurumi gifts and for the recipients to have a toy made just for them that no one else one just like it.

My exploration into crocheted creatures for you was not limited to just land animals. Hue the Manatee Amigurumi Pattern is an adorable crochet pattern. If you check out the pattern, you’ll see that you don’t just have to make this Manatee in a traditional grey, but you can use a striping yarn or other bright colours to make this sweet, easy to follow pattern in whatever custom colour you choose!

We’re still loving alpacas, right? Alicia the Alpaca Amigurumi Pattern is an adorable, fuzzy crocheted stuffed animal that will make anyone smile, with her colourful, little pannier blanket, she would make a great handmade gift for a loved one.

Do hamsters live in the wild? You know I saw this super cute Hamster Crochet Pattern and thought it also looked like a full-cheeked chipmunk! So adorable and cartoonish, don’t you agree? One of these little guys would be a cute project to work on while camping and to keep in your trailer as a cuddly little trailer guest (who won’t eat through your pantry!).

I thought this Little Hamster Crochet Pattern resembled the pet hamsters that so many kids had or elementary school classes passed around for kids to take home. I was never in a class that had a class pet, so maybe that was just on television or by the time I was a kid they realized how traumatic it was for a creature to be passed around to different children. My eldest did bring home the class fish for a week or something. We thankfully didn’t kill it, but I think fish would probably prefer to stay in one place too.

Another under-represented stuffed animal is the badger. But you can make your own unique stuffed toy with this Bradley the Badger Amigurumi Crochet Pattern. Isn’t he adorable? I love his stripey black mask and his fuzzy coat.

Check out this adorable Leia the Turtle Amigurumi Crochet Pattern. Turtles make such adorable stuffed animals and while many kids seem to want a turtle as a pet, they’re not the easiest pet to keep. This little turtle would be super easy to keep and is just my speed as far as pets go. Her little shell is removable and has a cute little ties to fasten it on

If you like desert animals, check out this 4-in-1 Desert Creatures Amigurumi Patterns. It’s a bundle of patterns from Loopy Pattern and all her pattern bundles are 40% cheaper than buying the patterns separately. If you like a designer and their pattern style, buying a bundle of patterns is a great way to save a little money. And check out those adorable little creatures! This awesome bundle gets you an owl, a chameleon, a meerkat and a fennec (which is an African fox). What a fun and adorable bundle of creatures to make!

Here’s another unique toy to make: this Lemur Amigurumi Crochet Pattern also from Loopy Pattern is so adorable with his long slender striped tail. Lemurs gained a great deal of popularity after the Disney movie Madagascar was released. This sweet little stuffed toy would like to “move it, move it” along with a fun kid friend!

I know sheep are not exactly forest animals, but when I found this Bobble Sheep Amigurumi Crochet Pattern, it made me think of the New Zealand sheep, Shrek who escaped shearing for 6 years. When he was finally found and sheared, his fleece weighed in at more than 60 lbs! This little bobbly stuffed sheep will certainly not weigh 60 lbs, but he will certainly sit contentedly on your bed or couch as a fun conversation piece.

If you’ve never tried crocheting an amigurumi stuffed toy, it’s a great time to try it out! It’s such a fun and satisfying area of the craft of crocheting. Many patterns often work up quickly, so they make great last minute handmade gift ideas for young and old alike! Pick up one of these cute patterns today or pin it for later so you don’t forget!

Cuddly Creatures

I’m sure we could all use a little extra comfort right now. A crocheted (or knit!) cuddly creature is the perfect thing to make to get a feeling of accomplishment with only a few hours of work (well, depending on the pattern). Smaller amigurumis (crocheted stuffed toys) can come together in one to three hours. It’s so fun to watch your yarn turn into a cuddly little friend. What better gift to give to your child or grandchild than a handmade stuffed toy for a little bit of extra comfort? Check out these adorable amigurumi patterns to make! (There’s even a couple of knitting patterns in here!)

But these Moss the Sheep Knitting Patterns are an exception! Mini Amigurumi

Amigurumi is one of my favourite things to make to give as a gift! It’s so fun to be able to make your own stuffed animals. And the great thing about mini amigurumi is that the projects come together pretty quickly! And my kids love them! While they can be a little bit finicky if you’re working with fine yarn, the stitch count is lower so you can have a small toy made in a few hours or so. If you want a special handmade gift for the love in your life, check out one of these adorable patterns. You still have plenty of time to whip some up for Valentine’s day!

This Shihtzu puppy is absolutely adorable! We don’t have any pets in our house, but my kids love the idea of one. I think they like the stuffed dogs even more, though. Because as much fun as real dogs are to play with, they also do other things that my kids don’t like as much. And frankly, I’m happier with stuffed dogs as well. This little Shihtzu is just our speed. UPDATE: Unfortunately, this cute pattern is no longer available, but there’s another realistic looking Shih tzu crochet pattern here.

If you’re looking for some yarn for this project, check out these cotton yarns from Lion Brand. For mini amigurumi, Bonbons are a good option if you want to get a bunch of colours, but don’t want the expense and leftover yarn of a full-sized skein.

And of course, you have to have a Kitty amigurumi. This sweet little kitty is so adorable and fits in the palm of your hand. One of the best things about an amigurumi kitty is it stays a kitten forever. It’s always cute and it never poops in your garden.

UPDATE: Unfortunately this pattern is no longer available. For some more great miniature kitty amigurumi patterns, check out this link.

Speaking of gardens, as much as I know that bees are good for my garden, they kind of terrify me a little bit in real life. But not Barry the Bee! This little toy stands just 8 inches tall and has a cute little flower. With bright yellow and black stripes, this little doll is sure to add a pop of colour to any kids room.

Maybe Easter is on your mind. You can get making this Elendan Bunny amigurumi pattern to have an adorable little bunny rabbit for an Easter gift. I love the brushed yarn for the fur, which makes such a realistic-looking stuffed animal!

Of course, Baby Alien Amigurumi has been taking the internet by storm. Here’s an adorable little pattern to make your own tiny Baby Yoda crochet doll. All this little guy needs is a mug of broth to complete the look!

If you’re getting into making amigurumi, you’ll probably need some safety eyes. Check out these. You’ll probably also need some polyfil.

For a winter-themed gift, a Little Penguin amigurumi like this one would make a cute little keychain or tiny toy. UPDATE: Unfortunately, this pattern and shop are no longer available, but there are a bunch of other cute options here: Other cute penguin patterns

The Valentine Minis Set is a cute set of Valentine’s-themed patterns that includes a little cupid doll, a little perfume doll, a little teddy bear doll and a little chocolate bar doll. A lovely little set to make for your valentine this year!

This Little Tiger toy crochet pattern is a lovely little pattern to make for the jungle-loving kid in your life. He looks a little like Daniel Tiger, so if your loved one is a fan of that show, this is a great little pattern to make for him or her.

UPDATE: Unfortunately this pattern is no longer available for sale. To find some more great little tiger amigurumi patterns check out, this link.

Or a super adorable Miniature bear amigurumi crochet pattern! How cute is this little guy?! You could easily personalize him by whipping up a quick scarf or hat! How sweet is he? I just love these amigurumi dolls that fit in the palm of your hand!

If you’re looking for something a little bit different this Amigurumi Seahorse might just be what you’re looking for! Such a sweet little stuffed seahorse makes a unique toy or keychain or zipper pull.

Or maybe your preferred sea creature is a crab! This Crochet crab pattern is adorable, cartoony stuffed animal pattern that is sure to amuse and delight its recipient and anyone who sees it! It’s just 11 cm/4.3 inches long, so you can take this little crab with you anywhere!

If you’re prepping for Easter, you can make an Easter Minis Set, which includes a pattern for Mr Chicken, Mr Bunny, Mr Easter Cake and Mrs Angel. A great set to celebrate the upcoming Easter holiday! And you have plenty of time to get making!

I just love amigurumi! According to Wikipedia: Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. The word is a portmanteau of the Japanese words ami, meaning “crocheted or knitted”, and nuigurumi, meaning “stuffed doll”. And this time of year is the perfect time to make some. Amigurumi is perfect for Christmas, as gifts for children, as decorations for your home or tree, as gifts for co-workers. They work up pretty quickly and are really fun to make; you can also use up some of your odds and ends of yarn since they’re usually pretty small and you can customise their colours to whatever you have on hand! So many people are delighted by amigurumi, it makes the perfect whimsical addition to this festive season! Check out these adorable stuffed crocheted creatures and pick out a pattern to start working on today!

How about this festive Little Christmas Deer Crochet Pattern? One pattern gives you all the instructions you need to make these little amigurumi deer dolls, with plenty of high-quality photos to walk you through it. Depending on the size of yarn you use, these little guys could be toys for kids or decorations for your tree!

How adorable are these gingerbread people? Again, here’s another pattern with instructions to make both tops: a Gingerbread Man and Girl Couple Amigurumi Pattern. How much fun would a set of these be for a newlywed couple for their first Christmas? They’re so sweet with all their decoration details!

I’m a sucker for gnomes! I love their big furry beards and festive hats on their squat, rotund bodies. Herbert the Christmas Gnome Amigurumi Pattern would make a great addition to my mantle (which is frankly looking a little sad this year… see my Instagram post about it). But I think this guy would spruce it right up!

Who can resist an adorable cartoon-ish Mr Santa Crochet Pattern? His cloud-like beard and little button eyes just draw you in. My kids were never really enamoured with Santa, and we never really forced them to sit on Santa’s knee because they always looked terrified of him. Besides, who wants to stand in line with kids for 20 minutes to traumatize your kids for an awful over-priced picture? My kids were slightly intrigued by the idea of the right jolly old elf, so I slightly regret not snapping a photo of them looking onto the spectacle of Santa visiting from a distance. I’m sure they would have been much more interested in a stuffed version of Santa like this cute little amigurumi doll.

Mr Pinny Crochet Amigurumi Pattern is a super cute, sweater-clad penguin doll ready to grace your Christmas tree with his chipper little face! It’s time for all the cold-weather creatures to come out and adorn our homes with their cuteness! I don’t know, though; do you think this little guy could use a hat? Or a scarf? He looks a little chilly. I think I’d make him a hat, too.

Of course, you don’t need to make Christmas themed Amigurumi to give out as a gift! You can make a stuffed toy that can be enjoyed year-round, like this Milo the Hipster Cat Amigurumi Pattern. What kid doesn’t want a stuffed cat in a hoodie? My kids love this kind of stuff and I’m sure yours would too!

Or if you have a princess-lover on your hands, this Princess Amigurumi Crochet Pattern Bundle would give you all the instructions you need to make a whole collection of princesses! These dolls are so adorable; how much more special will one of these dolls be to the recipient when they know it was made by your loving hands? That’s the beauty of handmade; so much pride involved in making and so much love felt in giving and receiving!

If you’re new to amigurumi, you could try something a little simpler, like this Crochet Star Amigurumi Pattern. Festive for the holiday season, but suitable to be displayed year-round. Make one with a thick, bulky yarn and you’d have a super fun pillow for a teen. It gets harder and harder to come up with good fun handmade gift ideas for teens as they get older. This would be a suitable option for an older kid and would make a fun addition to their bed.

Do you want a hippopotamus for Christmas? You can make one with this Crochet Hippo Amigurumi Pattern! This cuddly hippo would double as a super fun and functional pillow. Made with a big enough yarn, this friendly character would crochet up quickly and make a really snuggly stuffed friend for any kid. All this hippo needs is a cute little bow and to be displayed under the tree!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this little introduction to various amigurumi characters you could make this Christmas. You’ve still got some time, so go pick up a pattern and get to work! What better things do you have to do as the weather turns colder than sit cosied up at home with your crocheting? Grab a pattern or pin it for later!

Adorable Halloween Amigurumi

Halloween is coming up, so there’s no better time to start making some adorable little not-so-frightening handmade stuffed toys! There are so many fun patterns to make! These would make great decor items to spruce up your house for the spooky season ahead.

*Disclosure: this post contains affiliate links, meaning if you click on them and buy something, you don’t pay any extra, but I may get a small commission.*

First off, check out this adorable bat pattern from the Etsy shop, Manuska. I love the lacy wings on this crocheted bat doll: such a unique feature! And she’s just so sweet worked up in the pink and grey with the little bow on her head! Not like a gross, dusty real bat at all!

How are these little guys for adorable and non-scary Halloween amigurumi? Have you ever seen such cute little dolls? What a fun trio of costumed dolls. And you can get all three patterns together here. So cute.

If little ghosts are more your thing, check out this adorable little ghost amigurumi pattern. So sweet! He looks like he would work up really quickly for a last minute project… or maybe some little treats for the special trick-or-treaters in your neighbourhood!

Not wanting to leave my knitters in the lurch, if you’re a knitter, you should also check out this fabulous and sweet knitting pattern for a pumpkin-costumed stuffed bunny! So sweet! (I think I had a costume just like this one when I was little!)

Here’s another sweet little adorably innocent-looking Halloween pumpkin: it’s already crocheted up for you so you don’t have to do any work, but I’m sure you could find another pattern and modify it to make up a similar one for yourself if that was more your thing.

Just because monsters are usually scary, doesn’t mean they have to be. While these crocheted monsters with an underbite definitely sport a grumpy expression, there’s no denying they’re absolutely loveable!

Another adorable monster!!! This little monster-costumed doll crochet pattern would make a sweet little handmade gift for any child! Does she remind you of the little girl in Monsters Inc? Maybe not scary… definitely cute.

This sweet little monster looks shy and scared himself: no way he’s scaring anyone else! This little stuffed toy would make a fetching addition to any nursery! Perfect unique handmade gift for a child!

If you like these patterns, you should go pick one up from Etsy. There are many more adorable Halloween amigurumi patterns that I didn’t have time to tell you about. Etsy also has plenty of other Halloween inspiration here.

Harry Potter Patterns

It’s hard to believe that the first Harry Potter books hit the shelves over 20 years ago! My kids are all Potterheads (well, the last one is just starting the books now, but he will be)! We love Harry Potter! There are so many great Harry Potter inspired craft projects to try. I’ve found some great ones for you today!

*Disclosure: this post contains affiliate links, meaning if you click on them and buy something, you don’t pay any extra, but I may get a small commission.*

Look at this amazing knitting pattern for this sweet Harry Potter doll by TutosDelphine! This pattern is available in both English and French and if you’re not a knitter, this is definitely a beautiful-looking pattern that will inspire you to learn! Gorgeous!

While this pattern is unfortunately no longer available, there are some other similar looking wizard amigurumi patterns available here.

First thing’s first, get yourself sorted into a house! You can crochet this fun sorting hat pattern and figure out if you’re a Hufflepuff, a Gryffindor, a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin. (My daughter and I are Ravenclaws.)

UPDATE: This pattern is no longer available, but you can find some other similar hat patterns here.

I was so pleased to find a crochet pattern to make a snowy owl like Hedwig! And it’s a vintage pattern, which I think is cool. Honestly, most vintage patterns look a little wonky, IMHO, but I think this pattern looks great and would be perfect to make the Potterhead in your life their very own owl!

If you’re looking to make a unique gift for the Harry Potter fan in your life, you can’t go wrong with this adorable, grumpy Mandrake amigurumi crochet pattern! Thankfully these stuffed toys will not scream like a “real” mandrake!

This fall season with back to school and Halloween approaching just get me in the mood for Harry Potter. I’m so pleased to have started reading the books again with my youngest son. It’s been a while for me! I hope you enjoy these Harry Potter inspired knitting and crochet patterns!

Fall Amigurumi

In my last post, I was protesting that it was still summer, but I must admit now that fall is fast approaching. The weather here turned quickly and now I am faced with covering my tomatoes on Monday to deal with nearly freezing temperatures. This shouldn’t be happening already. But you can’t fight the inevitable!

Fall is the perfect time of year to get back into crochet and warm up with a cup of tea under balls and balls of yarn! I have found some beautiful fall amigurumi for you to enjoy, that will warm your heart and help you embrace this new season.

*Disclosure: this post contains affiliate links, meaning if you click on them and buy something, you don’t pay any extra, but I may get a small commission.*

The start of fall means the start of school for us and while I’m sure your kids’ teachers already have plenty of apple paraphernalia, I bet ya they don’t have an amigurumi apple.

I love play food patterns! They make such great toys for kids! This is a beautiful apple pattern that would be a fun twist on an old classic gift for a teacher. And hey, if they don’t have a use for it, they can put it in with the play kitchen at their school!

If you have any fall babies in your life, this little fall reindeer essential oil diffuser toy is so fun! It’s not a pattern, but it’s such a good idea for a little handmade gift for a new baby!

If you did want to make one of these yourself, the reindeer pattern is available from TheresasCrochetShop. I know we normally think about reindeer as Christmas things, but these animals have to live year-round, right? Of course they would just wear woodsy orange scarves in the fall, right?

And while not exactly amigurumi, I couldn’t bear not to show this adorable scarecrow baby photo prop outfit/costume pattern. You could make it yourself and dress your little one up for Halloween as an adorable scarecrow!

How adorable is that? Almost makes me want to have another baby!

It wouldn’t be fall without pumpkins, right? This pattern set complete with beautiful fall flowers, mice and a pumpkin on a vine is a sweet deal!

I love how the little mice are poking their heads out of the pumpkin! I know most of my readers are Americans, but we Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving at the beginning of October, so these little guys would be great decor for the upcoming Thanksgiving celebrations!

I hope you enjoyed this little round up of fall amigurumi patterns! Start crocheting today! Or pin it for later!
