Creepy Crafty Wednesday Inspired Patterns

I know I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I just started watching Wednesday on Netflix. It’s a show my husband doesn’t want to watch, which means it will probably last me months because I don’t take a lot of time to watch TV by myself. It’s a pretty fun show, craft-wise because Wednesday wears a lot of knits (and crocheted items!). So, of course, the fibre community has come out with some patterns so that fans can make some Wednesday-inspired items. Check out the patterns below if you want to make some!

I was very surprised that there weren’t any knitting patterns that I could find for this black and white checked vest, since the original from the show is definitely a knit vest. The crochet pattern designers have not left us wanting though. If you crochet, you can make this Wednesday Vest Crochet Pattern from Hooked By Kimi.

While this Classic V-Neck Vest Knitting Pattern from Well Loved Knits is not explicitly Wednesday-inspired, making it a little oversized with a few more rows of ribbing at the end, would make it very similar to the original knit version that Wednesday wears in the series.

The vest that’s very similar (but different) in the series IS crocheted, so if you want to make yourself one, The Wednesday Vest Crochet Pattern from High Level Bandanas is for you.

I don’t know if I haven’t watched this episode yet, but the Wednesday White Collar Crochet Pattern from Lito Magic Crochet includes an image of the actress from Wednesday wearing a crocheted white collar like this one! It’s such a fun way to add a touch of crochet to your wardrobe!

There are A LOT of Wednesday Addams Amigurumi patterns to choose from, but this Wednesday Addams Doll + Party Dress Crochet Pattern from Lort Hobby was such a delightful and beautiful doll pattern! The dress is so fun and all of the details on this doll are just perfect!

Of course, what would Wednesday be without Thing? Make your own creepy Thing the hand crochet with this pattern from Lito Magic Crochet, complete with stitches and fingernails! What a fun and creepy crochet pattern!

An iconic image in Wednesday is the Ophelia Hall window. You can make this Ophelia Round Bag Crochet Pattern from Nine Inspired to show off your love for Wednesday with this functional cross-body purse crochet pattern!

Like I said, there are lots of Wednesday inspired amigurumi patterns, some of them are really quite creepy, but if you’re not feeling especially spooky, then the Spooky & Cheerful Girls Amigurumi Crochet Pattern from Medaami Patterns is super cute and would make fun little gifts for a Wednesday inspired kid.

Enid’s Snood Crochet Pattern from The Loopy Lamb

If I’m honest, I was probably much more of an Enid kind of kid than a Wednesday kind of kid. I would have like this Easy Enid-Style Sweater Knitting Pattern from Candy Yarn Shop with its soft pastel fades and cheery style.

I really love Enid’s character in Wednesday, how she is developing into her own person and accepting herself for who she is. Celebrate your own unique style with this Enid Crochet Doll Pattern from Cinnamon Doll Crochet. Even if the world is a dark and creepy place sometime, you can still be a pastel ray of rainbow light in a world full of misfits!

I hope you found some fun Wednesday-inspired crochet and knitting patterns to celebrate your love for this creepy series. Grab one today or pin it for later!
